Pros

Chance to work with high visibility brands. Golf league. Exhibit products are interesting.

Cons

Sales reps are the shot-callers and are financial partners with the president, but have zero accountability for poor project planning. Entry level project managers are essentially expeditors and have little input on costing or project scope. They are hired as fall guys to take the blame when projects are late, over budget or poorly defined. The president would rather hire and fire low cost employees than train and develop them. Poor company culture and below average benefits.

Pros

The industry that they work in, their clients, the projects they work on

Cons

Literally everything else. There is no HR. Person is basically there to just make sure that the company is protected by the staff. If anything happens to an employee or there is any workplace conflicts they could not care less. All employees are at each other’s throats and constantly look for ways to throw someone under the bus. If you mess up a project at any point you can also guarantee that they will act like you have set the building on fire. There is no training. No introduction to the company. You most likely will never know who your boss is. None of your coworkers will help you or care about your well being. Unless you find the few hidden gems, Orion RED is a “that’s not my job.” Kind of place. There’s no opportunity for advancement, no pay raises ( I know people who have worked here for nearly 10 years who haven’t received a raise) Just don’t do it. It is not worth it.
