Pros

Origin is gaining traction, and fast. The growth the company has been experiencing has been incredible to witness and be a part of. It definitely helps that employees are able to grab a "Go" energy drink to keep up with demand.

Cons

There are some serious cracks in the foundation at Origin. I could chalk it up to growing pains for the company because of the that previously mentioned growth, but it feels like upper management is putting bandaids on bullet holes. Priorities are all over the place, and management feels out of touch with how production is actually doing. Expectations for manufacturing are growing with the popularity of the company, yet compensation isn't following suit. Our CEO regularly posts about how expansive the company has become, except that these things are not happening where it all started. The Maine factory feels neglected while the CEO flies down to his second home in North Carolina, in his jet. I can respect getting to a place where that can be done, but not when the people you work for can't even afford the goods we make. It feels like the only way to truly be noticed in the company is to drink the Kool-aid that the media team puts out. Things just feel so phony seeing them from the inside. Our messaging is something I want to believe so badly, but it just doesn't feel true to life. There doesn't feel like any movement is possible inside the company. Management is hired from outside, and recently has not felt like they have brought a positive change.

Pros

Supervisors and higher ups are super nice and care about the people. The starting pay is good compared to the minimum wage, and gets raises every 3, 6, and 12 months

Cons

Needs to take a little more time to train someone on a new machine.

Pros

Good pay, and decent benefits

Cons

Does the bare minimum to be osha approved, no air conditioning in the summer where indoor temps reach 90 degrees, minimal heat in the winter, and borderline unsafe for women to work here with disbelief over sexual harassment and overall misogynistic attitude
