Limited hours and income due to the part-time nature of the position. Balancing Learning Assistant responsibilities with coursework and other commitments could be challenging during busy weeks. Student participation and engagement levels varied, which could sometimes make sessions less interactive than intended.

The university tries to help and be accommodating. I got a raise after 2 years.
