Print Room Operator: Disclosures - Printer Operator Orbus Exhibit & Display Group Employee Review

Pros

3 on / 1 off / 3 on / 7 off = work schedule Thurs-Thurs. (this isn't advertised anywhere) Fun teams. Creative minds. Big Machines. Plenty to Learn. If you like working minimal hours (37.5 per week), with a lot of time off in a great environment, print room is ideal.

Cons

No paid holidays if your not scheduled to work that week) Almost no OT!! (Make sure you do the math for 37.5hrs/wk for 52 weeks at your wage rate to understand what you need to live on this year before accepting offer. They Make you take PTO to get paid for days they decide to shut down or host an event. There are a lot of cliques here also. Also, you probably don't want to work here if you just want to do your job and go home. Doing more than your job is expected.

Pros

Not many pros, there are some good people that work here that deserve better. Definitely made a couple friends.

Cons

I have had people come and go that were told lies in the interview process in terms of what CRM we would be using and the opportunities to grow and advance your career. Turns out, if you plan on having a family, wife and kids, you're stagnant and there isn't much you can do. Senior leadership must have never been around for their children that's why we get 0 days of leave and have to use as much PTO as we save (only 15 days for the whole year until year 5 for sick days and vacation with minimal holidays off as well). This job is only good for people not interested in falling in love or starting a family. If you want to be overworked and travel constantly just to be belittled by the terrible journeyman of a CEO Gary and his side kick Harry, then come apply and see how miserable it truly is!
