Pros
Brilliant people, fun environment and good work-life balance. Most teams at Orbitz have good development managers, who take care of their people and really work hard to shield them from the upper management. These strong development managers are what make the place worth working at.
Cons
Management can be flakey at times. While I worked there, the company changed owners and directions several times. The overall company direction was always a moving target, so if you require a clear, consistent direction and vision from _upper_ management, look elsewhere. As I said above, the lower managers tended to do a good job of insulating their people, so that individual teams kept a somewhat consistent direction.
