Pros
- Company is willing to allow managers a lot a freedom in policy and small purchasing decisions. - Competitive pay. (Beware.....the salary will hold you hostage!)
Cons
Was in an ideal position to interact with every level of the company. This place has serious problems. - Company CEO believes company can do anything and doesn't believe in long term planning. - Company attempts to pivot and change too rapidly without gaining enough expertise in what they are attempting. - Production is very loose, and doesn't comply with regulations, which also creates huge problems with inventory. Production often is off by more than 10%. - Computer systems are exceedingly inferior. Home built system relies heavily on interfaced systems which under-perform and crash often. - HUGE turnover. Started a second and third shift in the space of 4 months. Then turned around and laid off third shift. Then started to get rid of second shift. -Highest quality employees are so stressed out compensating for poor policies and performance of others that they are walking out the door.
