Clueless management - Marketing and Sales Optowave Employee Review

Flexible with scheduling and PTO, comfortable work environment

Understaffed, lack of communication, language barrier can be difficult

The science is interesting! If you have an interest in technology and manufacturing, this position will appear to be a fun and intriguing industry from first glance. But be warned, the company absolutely falls flat. The people are generally polite when it comes to small talk, but management is easily offended if you ask basic questions about your position, pricing, procedures, expectations, etc... pretty much anything pertaining to your actual job.

I have so much to say here, but it will have to wait for another time. But everything you are reading from other reviews is 100% accurate and true. Management is completely clueless and unethical. The language barrier and communication is a MAJOR issue, even though they try to blow it off. No one knows policies and procedures for anything. You are constantly meant to feel like you arent doing enough, but the reality is that you're just trying to do your best with no training, no support from management, no budget (be prepared for them to tell you that you need to spend your own money on EVERYTHING) , no strategies, no communication, and no equipment.
