      Fun people, but very dogmatic managerial style for my taste - C++ Developer Open iT Employee Review

      Pros

      People are kind and playful even at meetings. I met some of my good friends there, and had befriended a cute girl I kinda was into that time.

      Cons

      I thought I was doing great, and yet my KPI says otherwise. I was new to the workforce that time, and so I thought questioning some questionable numbers that they rate me was out of the... uh, question. My line manager never bothered to see the things that I did great in, nor did they help me understand the areas that I can improve on. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Also there are plenty of old people in queue to become the next manager, so I doubt career advancement is possible here. Looking back, I am grateful to have left the company early.

      Smaller company so if you like a larger company this is not it.

      Pros

      +1 star on travel opportunities on customer facing roles, working hours flexibility, and high entry-level salary (relative to provincial setup) +1 star on culture (no swearing), plus side on early Christian-based foundations (which is now changing too) +1 star on people, team spirit and culture

      Cons

      1 missing star on training, growth, and compensation on senior roles, and job security - limited room to grow and ceiling on roles to expand on 1 missing star sales strategy, innovation, and product quality - too focused on marketing and sales (if there's more focus on product quality and innovation; and customer service people feels more supported, the product will sell itself)
