Pros
Good working dynamic where you are trusted to get on with your job. Most of the staff are extremely competent and willing to adapt. Great office and good perks. Great HR manager who was committed to making sure there was a steady stream of company socials.
Cons
Made a quarter of their staff redundant a week before national lockdown of the UK. Initially there was no plan to furlough staff, and only a few weeks later, after numerous requests did they agree to offer staff the option of being furloughed until August. This was extremely stressful, as for weeks I was expecting to be left with no income in the middle of a global pandemic. As soon as the government scheme started requiring companies to begin contributing towards things like national insurance of furloughed employees, we were made redundant.
