Pros
Work downtown with lots of options to eat and walk around.
People and community nice to work around. Very laid back and welcoming for the most part.
High trust environment which was nice.
Felt comfortable asking questions.
Cons
The culture did not feel particularly team-oriented, which at times made the experience isolating as a new hire. The physical workspace also contributed to this feeling, as the office environment was darker and lacked natural light.
Training felt limited, and after a brief onboarding period, there was an expectation to work independently without much ongoing support. There were long work hours, while seasoned employees went home early. Additionally, there were instances where leadership did not fully step into a training or mentorship role, which made it more challenging to ramp up effectively.
