My manager and colleagues were nice

Multiple venues run like a house of cards, juggling staff to barely fill rosters across multiple locations. Rostering was a constant issue performed at head office rather than at the venue level. Was very difficult to get time off and rosters were unresponsive to staff needs. Removed head office passes stress down the line to their venue managers who are constantly just trying to keep everything going. Expansion obsessed, company was always looking to open another 2 venues rather than fixing the operations of the ones they already had. Was told to come into work while sick during lockdown. Generally very unpleasant company to work for on the ground level

Pros

Fun coworkers. Free coffee only. Not much more

Cons

No culture and zero system. Out of touch operation managers have no idea what they are doing. Consistenly understaffed and overworked. Always pushing to cut shifts short and overwork the poor ones left on shift
