Pros

I've been with the company for a couple of years now and work very closely with about 10 colleagues within a larger team that designs and markets the brand's products. In the time I've been here, Oner has taken me on multiple trips to some bucket list places such as NYC, Joshua Tree, and Los Angeles...we even had an amazing birthday event in Venice Beach, stayed at a FANTASTIC hotel in Santa Monica, and the company hosted us for some amazing dinners, social events, and I we were even invited to a super nice party with the founder and senior leadership. I personally love to travel and have new experiences, so this was absolutely pleasure to do. The events, in particular the Oner's Birthday event in Venice, were definitely hard work but we were well treated and compensated for it; there are may perks that come with this job if you're the right fit. I even received a 15% bonus at the end of the year and my December check was paid 2 weeks early! Finally, whenever we do an event for the community, you get to see how much the love the brand and the founder, Krissy, and it's truly an incredible thing to see. I want to keep working hard, traveling, and helping the company grow by doing my part because I LOVE this job and want to keep growing with it.

Cons

Of course nothing is ever perfect and this is no exception. Oner is a challenging environment where we are trying to do great things for our customers and community, but the brand is not yet an established global entity with tons of resources, it's still very much bootstrapped. I don't have 10 years of experience within my industry and I'm already at a competitive salary and benefits, so I can only imagine what I can accomplish at Oner once I gain some more ground. Many of my colleagues are in the same boat: tons of drive and desire, but limited experience due to this being their first or second job. This means there's tons of energy, but not a ton of process. I think this is a good thing because things are fluid and we're all growing with the brand. The con to that is that sometimes you can feel a little out of your depth and without the right resources in place to the kind of job we want since we're all super ambitious and want to compete with the big stablished brands everyone knows. If you want to be told what to do every second of the day and sit at a desk, I don't think this company would be a good fit. If you like to travel and do cool things, then Oner is probably for you.

Hey! Thank you so much for your review, it means a lot to hear how your journey with Oner has been filled with growth and meaningful experiences. You’ve captured the essence of what it’s like to be part of a fast-moving, purpose-driven brand. We know the pace and ambition can be intense, and you're right, there’s still work to do in areas like process, structure, and in scaling support. But we’re listening and committed to building the foundations that will take Oner to the next level. Thank you for everything you bring to the team, let’s keep growing, together.

Pros

Working at Oner Active has truly been one of the best experiences of my life. Krissy is such an inspiration — yes, she’s very demanding, but always in the best way possible, because she pushes everyone to aim for excellence and to uphold the incredible standards of the brand she’s built. During my time here, I’ve learned so much, not only professionally but also personally. I had the chance to collaborate with incredibly talented and passionate individuals across different teams. Everyone genuinely cares about each other and about the brand, and that shows in everything they do. The team away events are always so well organised, and they perfectly reflect the culture at Oner: unity, passion, and care. Applause to all the teams who work so hard, they are truly lovely people who give their best every day. A special mention goes to my manager, one of the most experienced and inspiring people I’ve ever met. I’m forever grateful to her for everything I’ve learned from her guidance and example. In short: a challenging, inspiring, and deeply rewarding place to grow. ❤️

Cons

It’s a fast-paced environment with high expectations, which can feel intense at times. But if you’re eager to learn, grow quickly, and challenge yourself, it’s an amazing place to be.

Pros

Great office, beautifully done. Dogs in office - always puts a smile on peoples faces. Great discount Good location in London.

Cons

Completely toxic environment. All employees are working at 110% (or more) of their capacity, and are BROKEN. The Founder and CEO don't care, as long as the company is growing. If you bring an issue to the senior leaders, they would tell you to find a solution, and then scream at you when it didn't go the way they thought it should go. On the outside, Oner looks like a great company to work for, but don't be fooled. Yes the team building days are a bonus, yes we all get to rep the brand, but the founder has her favourites, and promotes them before everyone else, which is a) highly unprofessional, and b) unfair on everyone else who has worked their nuts off, and once she decides she doesn't like someone, (because they may have spoken up about a problem) they're got rid of. Seniors seem to mirror her behaviour which contributes to an even more toxic work environment. She's made some bold claims about the Oner culture and empowering women online, but this is not the case behind the scenes. Avoid like the plague.

Hey! Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear how negatively your time at Oner Active affected you. Feedback like this is important to us, it truely helps us reflect on where we’ve fallen short and where we must improve. We are proud of many things at Oner, including our passionate team, beautiful office, and the moments we share together. But we also recognise that these things wont matter if people feel overworked, unsupported, or unheard. We are actively working to build a healthier, more balanced culture, one where all employees feel safe, respected, and valued. That includes reviewing our leadership practices, how we manage workload, and ensuring that feedback from every level of the business is not only welcomed but acted on. We appreciate you taking the time to give this review.
