A few kind employees does not make up for bizarre "Wolf of Wall Street" atmosphere led by an egotistic CEO - Sales Consultant OneCorp Employee Review

Pros

A handful of kind hearted staff members who take keen interest in your career development Career development opportunities are good to rise from meeting scheduler to sales consultant, to property adviser

Cons

CEO is incompetent, with an ego that knows no bounds. Example: In the morning sales meetings (compulsory hour long session each Friday starting an hour before work started), we were made sit through watching motivational videos on youtube about going the extra mile. Upon finishing the video, the CEO then implied that staff should work longer by either reducing their lunch breaks or sleep schedule, "look at me, I live off 4 hours sleep and don't take lunch, you need to show commitment to the grind like mine if you're going to last here" Everyone is too focused on impressing him, as if he is some disgruntled toddler that needs his ego praised on a daily basis for fear of disapproval I have never been in one, but it is the closest thing to a cult I have ever experienced with Mitch at the helm.

Pros

People & Culture does a great job at selling the job opportunity.

Cons

Very secretive, with no care factor for employees; employees get let go very quickly, and some unfairly.

Pros

Nice office A handful of nice people

Cons

Very incompetent leadership, constant hiring and firing. No competent sense of direction. No care for the customers at all and the owner always came in very late (around 10am) and was always the first to leave. He would lecture us constantly and he insinuated we should want to stay and do overtime and he wants us to want to be at work more than we want to be at home. From someone doing 10am to 3pm (at best) that’s a bit rich. This company is a property spruiker that doesn’t care about the people they promised to make rich. They invest far more in their sales teams than they do in any other part of the business. Anyone who tries to do right by the customers first and foremost gets kicked. In my time there I saw about half the office get fired including managers and CEOs.
