Pros

In the activewear department it's a more relaxed environment and the employees are nice and considerate to one another. You get Jewish holidays off, which can be nice.

Cons

Before accepting an offer or interviewing, please read the reviews! They're all true. Upper managment and middle management don't care about you even if you're the most competent employee. The pay is low for the amount of work you'll do. You'll get 1 week of PTO after 1 year, 2 weeks after 2 years, etc. No remote work either and you'll be guilt tripped for taking time off especially during the week of Christmas.

Pros

I am a manger at one step up. I have been here over 17 years I've been reading SOME of the reviews, I find them extremely inaccurate and seems they are from former disgruntled employees. I also think the only people that write these reviews ARE FORMER EMPLOYEES (. Because there are so many divisions at one step up there is a lot of opportunity for growth as I began here as a sales and administrative assistant and I now manage a large division. Hands on CEO. 401K - with employer contribution INSURANCE 6 sick/personal days 2 weeks vacation after one year of employment (1 week 1st year)

Cons

Large company so there is red tape to navigate through as with other large companies

Pros

Great company to work at if you’re beginning your career as you may wear several different hats to help you gain experience.

Cons

The company does not take good care of their employees. Health and benefits could use some work. Benefits in particular are extremely dated.
