Pros

flavored coffee creamer in break room, nice café downstairs, casual dress code during the holidays

Cons

My training was HORRIBLE which lead to a ridiculously stressful and short tenure. First of all, out of our 4 week training, half of it was spent learning about every other department and how they work instead of how to actually perform our jobs. The two trainers for the California scheduling department were a couple of girls in their early 20's who were so checked out and unorganized it wasn't even funny. There were several complaints of one of them being prejudiced and only answering questions from white people and ignoring everyone else. They ran through the material which was really complicated and didn't give anyone time to practice with the computer system because "they forgot to book the computer room". Very professional. After that abysmal training, we were thrown on the floor and expected to memorize every single tiny little rule and regulation. I had an auditor that obsessively checked all my work and NEVER let any of my work get done so it looked like I was not being productive when in reality, she was holding me up. I later found out someone in my training group had the same problem and was changed to a different auditor and he was able to start getting work done. Well, I never complained so I had to deal with being berated by this auditor and then pulled into a meeting asking "what can we do for you" instead of telling me upfront they did not think I was doing well. They then called my staffing agency and told them I was not doing well, but did not tell them if I was on a final warning. They just made it seem like they relayed the feedback they gave me to the staffing agency late so I figured everything had been resolved and the staffing agency was just checking up. I was unceremoniously let go the next week and had to call the staffing agency to go and get my things returned almost two weeks later. I thought this job would be perfect for me, but it made me sick with stress for the short time I was there. Their mantra the entire time was “it takes people MONTHS to get it, don’t worry!” First of all, that’s a lie; you do need to be worried. Second, HOW IS IT ACEPTABLE THAT YOUR EMPLOYEES DON’T UNDERSTAND THEIR JOBS FOR MONTHS?! That’s not efficient or profitable. Align networks seems to have a problem of allowing cliquish, unprofessional, and clueless people to be "leaders” and everyone who doesn’t somehow manage to do perform to their ridiculous standards is let go. They have a façade of being chill and hip, but really they treat employees like sweatshop workers.

Pros

Throughout the interview process, the leaders at One Call kept talking about their culture and the people that make it so great to work there. I was skeptical since most companies talk a big game but One Call actually delivered! Their culture is unmatched and everyone genuinely cares about one another and the consumer (the patients we serve).

Cons

Sometimes the company operates as the world's oldest start-up company.

Pros

The hard working people developing and testing the software are good people who just want to succeed.

Cons

Run fast, don’t just run. Upper management is non-existent and bent on doing everything with AI at all costs. People are leaving in droves for better pay and less stress. There is no plan.
