      Pros

      Flexible scheduling allowed me to attend to personal matters. Benefits were full coverage. There are free snacks. Product is exciting and neat to work on.

      Cons

      Organization structure is confusing and muddled. Opportunities for advancement are very limited; decision-making process for these opportunities is confusing and political. Operations/management is very much in "their heads" and is not caring towards the salespeople. Compensation is unbalanced and not competitive with respect to other solar companies. Training needs great improvement. Challenging to complete work due to lack of structure and sales support staff.

      Pros

      One Block Off the Grid is a young a growing company with a tremendous amount of potential within the residential solar energy market. Every employee is unique in their own way and bring some of the best talent to their specific job. The office is an open working environment, which makes it easy to connect with the executive board at any point and time. The potential is there for this company to grow exponentially within the next few years for this company.

      Cons

      As with any other start up company, the hours can be long, but the rewards of seeing the company grow and mature make it all worth it.
