Pros
*Very forward-thinking company poised for real growth. The company has been around for over 20 years and has kept up with the pace of changing technologies, and I expect that to continue. *Constantly focused on improvement - any issues from a year ago are no longer issues today. Because it's a smaller company, you get a lot of access to leadership, which means you can really affect change at the company. Leadership is very supportive and dialed into employee satisfaction. *Amazing health benefits - most single-person plans require nothing out of pocket. I've never worked for a company that offers that before. *We have company goals, department goals, and individual goals, summarized by a thorough review process, so you always know where you stand. *It's a small enough company that if you have an idea - and it's a good idea - you can see it through and help make big improvements at the company. But it's not so small that you are constantly putting out fires and can't use your time efficiently. Work-life balance is good. *Overall, employees are satisfied here and like what they do - so it's a friendly, healthy work environment.
Cons
Pay is slightly under market value for some positions, but benefits tend to outweigh the lower salary. Also, because we have a scrappy start-up vibe, we lack some resources and are faced with having to solve problems ourselves that a larger company would have an entire department for solving.
