Pros
You can work from home and come to the office (no pressure) if you want to socialise some days. Very respectful culture, no pressure to work overtime, a very relaxed environment with recognition from "above" for all the work you put in. People who work here are truly exceptional: self-aware, kind, helpful and fun. These will probably be the best colleagues you've ever had.
Cons
Due to tough times in tech and startup industry there have been a few rounds of layoffs in the past year. Promotions and salary increases have been frozen for the time being (as far as Im aware). Social budgets (for company events/parties) have been cut dramatically. It's understandable given that the business doesn't have a lot of money at the moment but this was one of the main advantages working for a startup of this size – all the parties and getting together on company time/money. Without it you start to wonder why are you even here? If you're looking to join Ometria – be aware it's not going to be especially great in the next year while there's still recession going on but as soon as Ometria gets a new round of funding (who knows when that's going to happen) it will probably become the amazing place to work it once was.
