Pros
Upper management is made up of a generally well-liked group and work hours average around 45 a week.
Cons
Low pay and poor benefits. Middle management is stuck in the 1990s. Older middle managers refuse to grow as technology and methods change. Very much an Excel spreadsheet kind of organization with useless online project management tools. New ideas are often met with fierce opposition and even go unresearched. Could be considered a retirement home for older middle managers to coast their way into retirement. In-person training is still used as a sales generator.
