Pros
Always challenged to work hard and perform well. They are open to new ideas and there opportunities for advancement even for contractors
Cons
Highly competitive within the support department, high rate of turnover. The rest of the IS department is unresponsive to the needs of the support staff and ultimately the end users and does not respect each other. Preferential treatment is given to doc that rake in the cash and it ends up that patient care suffers because of these skewed priorities.
