Pros

Everyone was quite lovely to work with. The fast paced environment was a delightful challenge. I enjoyed making co-workers and customers laugh and enjoy their time there. The food was great, and even though I never wanted to be a cook, I liked gaining experience in that position.

Cons

I very much disliked their training methods, and being told I have to be competitive in order to keep my job. I am not a competitive person. I feel that there is no reason why I should want to be better then anyone, except the person I was yesterday. While being trained, they spoke extremely fast and ignored my resume. My past work experience is always front-of-house and barista related. So having me start with learning everything else all at once wasn't very helpful at all.

Pros

The owners at Off the Waffle are some of the most kind, genuine people I have ever worked with, who care deeply about creating a casual and community orientated dining experience with a delicious product. That passion and drive goes a long way, and in my short time here I can truly say that I have been inspired and supported by leadership in a way I never have before at any other job. I love what I do, and I'm excited to transition into a fulltime role along the line.

Cons

None that aren't to be expected in a small, local business. They are working very hard to improve processes, and any complaints / concerns or issues are heard and bettered to the best of their ability.
