Pros

This company has acquired and kept some amaizing people who do phenominal work. The field nurses, spiritual care, social workers, and home health aides are people who I would love to have take care of my family and my mother when she needs it.

Cons

The administration in my office rules thier "kingdom" through fear. They arbitrarily attack staff in abusive ways that are unethical and unprofessional and "let off steam"... unfortunately by beating up thier staff. They all go out as a pack on smoking breaks multiple times a day. Health, caring, and support of the field staff does not seem to be part of thier job description. Instead, the field staff support and hold up the management after a day of working with dying people and thier loved ones. As staff, you care for the patients, and you care for your bosses-- or else... and if you need support, you better get it at home. They purposley do not inform employees of thier workplace rights to better protect themselves. No room for advancement, and no one to take a complaint to when it's needed. The Detroit office is an story much like the boys in "lord of the flies".
