You don't experience many of the retail horror stories you would at larger chains. Management was reasonably flexible with scheduling and always took our side during customer disputes. 30% discount nice bonus too (40% on some days)

None that I can think of

30% store discount only as good as much as you use it

conflicting instructions from different managers. retaliated against for following the initial policy when they change it a moment later. overworked while others are allowed to slack/make excuses. employees/managers will gaslight/sabotage to make more work for you or make you look incompetent. cluttered, cramped isles and shelves with items falling off; dangerous work environment. lack of proper equipment for tasks, slow registers, barely any price scanners, supplies not restocked efficiently, broken/breaking equipment replaced with worse equipment. 5 star positive reviews must be from the in-group with how polarized the reviews are; you are either in or out.
