Pros
Very fun and inviting environment. Great opportunity for entrepreneurs to grow and learn all about business. Everyone is very welcoming and make work exciting everyday. The CEO is an amazing role model and really hands on with developing each and every employee. She works with you to improve anything you are struggling with and praises you for all the skills you're excelling in.
Cons
It's unfortunate that people may look at this job and think it's a "too good to be true" situation and be skeptical about applying because of the fast rate you can grow to management and the great compensation involved although it may seem that way it's completely untrue and I encourage anyone to apply, you won't be disappointed.
Pros
There are plenty of pros to this job. Love the team atmosphere that the CEO has created. There is a ton of growth opportunities (if you are willing to put the work in) as well as the people that work at this company.
Cons
I really can't think of many cons at all. The only thing that might bother people is that it isn't a 9-5 job. I wasn't a morning person but in finding it easier to get up the longer that I work here.
Pros
The compensation plan has real opportunity, if selling Satellite TV is something you're comfortable with (helps if you don't actually care about what's best for the customer, or you'd tell them to get Netflix). This small company is an offshoot of a larger company that handles Direct Sales programs in a multitude of stores, those opportunities exist to owners who prove worthwhile. Some warehouse employees are awesome. Team nights (although photos attached presently are from the larger Tacoma office that this company has branched off of). Some of the people you will work with, here and from the attached Tacoma office, are genuinely good people, constantly improving.
Cons
Lack of (actual) training (partly a result of the below, no time for it when the owner is staffing stores themselves). Short-staffed, VERY high turnover, don't expect to hold this job for long. Standing 10.5 hours a day (contractually obligated to staff their stores open to close - full shifts or half shifts available, understand your time requirements) Who REALLY wants Satellite TV service? It's western Washington, home of Microsoft, no one wants Satellite service. Some warehouse employees are nuts. The Wireless guys will make fun of you a lot, since they're making more and doing less, many people end up leaving to work there. No medical benefits. Lack of team work (you spend an hour a day 3 days a week meeting in the Bothell office with your 'team' before going to the warehouse, otherwise you occupy the store alone. No, talking on the phone does not equate to teamwork) Some of the people you will work with are users, as the business type attracts; so it goes.
