Pros
I just wanted to take a few minutes to recognize Peter Beard and Jeff Hebner for their work at Acucote in Graham, North Carolina this week. Oasis was requested to come in and inspect and align the A-Slitter and the No. 1 Silicon Coater. After aligning the A-Slitter, the operator said that, as long as he had been there, he had never seen this machine run thin film without throwing wrinkles. Peter and Jeff did a fantastic job. Their attention to the details of the alignment and pride that they put into this project was outstanding. It goes without saying that pride in putting your name on your work is just so important. The training from Oasis along with the experience that these two individuals showed was fantastic. The customer was very happy with the results of the slitter alignment.
On day two, we worked on the alignment of the No. 1 Silicon Coater. We had to retrofit arms for a new idler and install both as well. Peter and Jeff did a great job with this assignment. The layout and installation went very smoothly. The team aligned several other components of this machine. Some were very significant. Again, Peter and Jeff did a fantastic job. I appreciate the opportunity to work with men that take their work seriously. Great job Pete and Jeff. It was my pleasure working with you guys and I look forward to working with you again very soon.
When you have a team that believes in performing at their highest level to achieve the goal, it just makes the job so much more enjoyable. I believe that a person’s work should be enjoyable. Oasis has the best training available for new hires as well as people that have been doing alignment for some time. When I came here years ago, I had been doing installation and alignment work for some years. I quickly found out that there was a lot to be learned still. I would like to thank Oasis for affording me an opportunity to learn the best procedures available for alignment. I’ve been in this type of business for 22 years, and in my opinion, Oasis is the top of the line.
Cons
There is a bit of travel involved. The employees make significant sacrifices as it pertains to their schedules.
