Pros
The organization offers strong base compensation, which helps offset its relatively limited benefits package. Certain processes within the company are handled with genuine professionalism and high standards, by great people with good intents.
Cons
The organization is led by a CEO whose behavior creates a hostile and intimidating work environment. Employees who challenge his decisions are quickly pushed out, which leaves people feeling they must either remain silent or risk losing their jobs. A small inner circle of close associates (His brothers) seems to be exempt from these consequences. Staff members report that the atmosphere becomes tense whenever the CEO is present. Women in particular experience discriminatory treatment, and no women currently hold upper-management roles or any sales roles. Speaking up about issues related to gender, diversity, or LGBTQ+ inclusion has resulted in dismissals. The company has gone more than three years without a VP of HR, after the CEO claimed that “ChatGPT could replace the HR department.” Concerns about inappropriate conduct, including sexual harassment, have been discouraged or ignored, leaving employees without safe channels for reporting or resolution. If you are not in the boys club, you might as well be transperent. Women are there for decoration.
