almost a year of employment, long term for this company. not sure where to start but nothing worked out as discussed in interview Huge dis-connect from job desciption in interview process to job expectations. Since ealry this year they have lost almost the entire sales force and regional managers, drain the swamp I guess. Lack of leadership, o.k. no leadership, no communication - Sales VP changes several times and all we get is a short email saying welcome new SVP, no calls or introductions, odd, new products launched and zero training. take over an existing portfolio and they want to charge rep for sending back free terminals from previous reps ( not told in interview), change of ownerships do not count ( not told in training). so if your in need of a short term job, this is the place, They will never have your back, which they do tell you in interview process.

OMEGA recognizes that we have opportunities for improvement. We did identify the leadership of the sales team as an area of concern. As a result, we have made changes to improve the leadership of the sales team.

Pros

Locally owned and operated with local decision making. Small enough to take care of portfolio, providing top notch customer service. Flexibility for sales; you set your schedule and they treat you like adults, but you only get out of it what you put into it. If you sell, you get paid. If you don't, you'll fail. No contracts, price and service guarantee, no equipment leasing, strong bank partnerships, and great reputation amongst small business community. HQ is in NKY.

Cons

Not many product offerings, total compensation plan not clearly spelled out and not as promised, thinner margins with less opportunity to make money, not many industry updates/direction to team, higher deductible insurance plan, not much stability for sales team long term.
