The worst company I have ever worked for. - Warehouse ODW Logistics Employee Review

Pros

The people were decent. They apparently offer to move you to different buildings if hours are low, but no one ever has experienced that.

Cons

After the first week of working, I discovered that they lied about my pay. I was originally told that I would be making 10.50 an hour. Both my roommate and I received 9.00 an hour even though we have had experience that qualified for their "e-start" program. When confronting human resources, they said that we both needed additional training in order to get a raise even though we said we would not go lower than 10.00. There are no benefits for full-time employees. The warehouses are disgusting, lined with infestation traps, while the lunchrooms were covered in grime.

ODW Logistics Response

In order to be an AIB certified food grade building, the government requires that all food grade warehouses supply and use pest control devices. All of the ODW warehouses that are food grade contain these items. In addition, all full-time employees are offered a comprehensive benefit package comparable to the market. Hourly pay is always commensurate with experience and is reflective of current training.

Pros

Supportive and tight knit culture, small, but fast-growing company so lots of opportunity for both lateral and linear growth, and genuinely care about employees

Cons

Because it's a smaller company in the logistics and transportations industry (smaller margins), pay tends to be on the lower end at all levels, comparatively speaking. Most people find it worth it given the culture, career growth, and benefits
