Pros

Free healthcare. Friendly/tries to be.

Cons

They will not allow access to proposal documents—for even the proposal manager. It’s weirdly unprofessional. They use Google suite instead of Microsoft even though they pay for Microsoft. They use multiple different venues for what should just be an email. My manager asked me to change my time are reflecting that I had worked overtime (96 hours within an 88 hour time period), even though I am an employee exempt of overtime. How am I supposed to prove all of my going above and beyond if not for extra hours on timesheets? I did it without question because this C-suite executive is such an aggressor. They also will not let you review previous writing as a proposal person, this made it nearly impossible to get a grasp of their story and win themes. The paranoia and immaturity is wild.

Pros

The company is a clear leader in leveraging technology to drive successful delivery, supported by an upper management team that understands risk and proactively mitigates it to enable strong, consistent outcomes.

Cons

Like many organizations in a growth phase, they are still refining some processes and structures, but they are clearly moving in the right direction and committed to continuous improvement.

Pros

I'm surprised - the company is rated much lower than I thought. This is the third company I've worked at, and by far the the best place I've worked at. The benefits are great. I have a great relationship with my managers who are supportive of my career and work life balance. I am very clear what my next steps are to grow in my position and have been given opportunities to do so. The company/CEO has been incredibly generous - in perks, benefits, and travel. I am very happy to work here.

Cons

Work can be hard and you don't get too much choice at what project you work on. But that's the nature of government contracting. I can't think of anything that a con of Nuvitek in particular. I've worked at other government contracting firms in the past, and this is the best it's been for me.
