Pros
- Oriented on continued learning - Focused on a work-life balance - Many tenured employees bringing many years of experience to your tasks - Focused on innovation (great place to be to learn new tech) - Access to experts in specific areas of tech, mainly speech (recognition, biometrics, synthetic, AI, etc.)
Cons
- Very large company ($2B+ revenue) with lots of red tape (difficulty to get processes approved even if it's for increased productivity or even get processes "cut" b/c of lack of foundation and productivity) - Information and resources are too often scattered throughout many sources (MS Teams folders dedicated to specific projects, separate department folders not accessible on the Network, within duplicate pages in the Intranet, etc.) - Communication between departments can be lacking and synergies may be missed (this was getting much better in the last year).
