- While a family run business can be beneficial to both operations and environment it can also create a toxic circumstance depending on who is given responsibility in key positions. - Out of touch sales mindset (although efforts were being made to shift this) that left management struggling to keep up with the promises made. - Sometimes 'innovation' was given priority over strengthening the core function and foundation of the business itself.
