There’s alot to do and you learn a bit (albeit the learning is very pigeonholed and specific).
Cons
- lack of communication from management regarding expectations
- lack of formalized training (only training was watching someone do their job for a week).
- lack of sympathy or humanity, e.g expected perfectly clear understanding and performance from a one hour training session from another intern
- Very high turnover (replaced almost entire departments worth of people in 2 years).
- I saw interns coming in and full time staff leaving - big red flag.
