Novalogic was well managed when I worked there, and had pretty good hours for a game company.

Location is a bit far out from Los Angeles, but great if you live out that way. Asset management and standards were pretty loose, and could use tightening up

Many of the people working in the trenches were great to work with and hang out with, company parties were nice affairs with plenty of booze.

Unreasonable expectations, short development cycles, upper management regularly yelled at employees, and wages were kept low. In short, it was a sweat shop.
