- health coverage for domestic partners - good technology resources provided - Wilmington office had good people - nice central location in Wilmington, near plenty of restaurants - willing to train - case teams crossed office boundaries, which allowed employee growth

- the Novak Druce firm did not merge well with the old Connolly Bove firm and did not seem to integrate and welcome the new employees - many of the practice groups splintered off into other firms and little was done to change the resulting poor morale - many long-term employees felt that the firm was going downhill and had already seen its "glory days"
