Pros
Decent money, some good people working there who are underutilized. There is a section below for work/life balance and I can't say working there was bad in that respect.
Cons
Management decisions are terrible and made in a very callous way that is completely disinterested in the employees. They just sold a business unit that the management ran into the ground through poor planning and execution and through legal loopholes they were able to give a severance of only 4-8 weeks to employees who had been with the company for many years, in one case over 20. No training to speak of at Northwest. It's wasn't Hell on Earth and I'm not bitter. Everything has worked out for me since Northwest so the purpose of this post is so that you know what you're getting into and the limitations on what you should expect. There are just so many better places to offer your skills where you could be valued.
