Brutal HR department - Master Technician Northstar Auto Group Employee Review

Pros

Good pay if you can stand the horrible work conditions and toxicity perpetuated by upper management and HR.

Cons

Worst place I worked for under the Ford brand name. HR primary leader and upper management are toxic. Busy perpetuating a culture of favoritism, bullying, and raging feminism to the extent that they are driving away decent hard working techs and service advisors from their stores. If you are one of HR's pet employees you will be completely protected from any and all harm, given all the best perks and jobs regardless if you can actually do the job or not. Whatever you do, don't cross a pet employee, you will be attacked, belittled and treated like a second class citizens with no end until you leave. Run away from this toxic workplace.

Pros

They provide in depth training

Cons

They treat their employees terribly. They discriminate against non-heterosexuals or people they believe to be. Their management has no problem, yelling at their sales associate on the sales floor in front of their colleagues and customers. They micromanage. And they ask you to do things that are ethically questionable in order to get a sale, including lying to potential customers. They are also not a busy location so commission is low. I think this is because many purchasers have learned not to trust them.
