Long Days during concert weeks

At Northside, I worked alongside the smartest, kindest people I've ever worked with. These people became my closest friends, and working events will draw you close very quickly. The perks are also undeniable - you'll get invited to cool events, concerts, etc. And, the work is fun - a magazine, a music festival, and a food festival. It's a very "glamorous" job on the outside.

Upper management has "big ideas" and unchecked power. They pretend to care about employee feedback, but lately they've fired anyone with feedback they doesn't like (they also pay to delete negative Glassdoor reviews.) They hire young and hungry millennials who are forced to do the work of 2-5 people, and pay them essentially nothing. If you're not full-time, you will NOT get paid on time. They re-acquired the company over a year ago, and still use that as an excuse for "getting back on their feet," but it's hard to maintain morale when everyone is overworked and underpaid to this extreme. Management are pros at gaslighting you to believe in the mission, and forget about how mistreated you are.
