The employees are the pretty great to work with

Cons

Recent cost cutting measures affect how nurses enjoy their job. One of the things that attracted me to Northside was how they care for their employees and with some of the recent cost cutting measures it seems they are slowly starting to become like other hospitals.

Student nurse extern

Pros

-some of the nurses on the floor were nice -gets your foot in the door with a hospital as a student -supportive management on the floor i was hired on

Cons

-low pay for what you put up with -was mainly working as a patient care tech as opposed to a nurse extern -nurses on the med/surg floors weren’t very nice and willing to help -don’t feel like i got enough training -the pre shift anxiety was horrendous
