Pros
Co-workers are a good group of people who are pretty much in the same situation that you are, hard-working, intelligent, unappreciated, underpaid, oh wait, this is the "pros" section...on the up side, you feel a kinship with those you work with, they really are a good group of people.
Cons
Just about everything, from the management who have been there since the dawn of mankind but don't seem to know what they are doing, to the fact that they have a serious "penny wise/dollar foolish" mentality, spending a lot of money on things that just don't make any difference to the business, and refusing to spend on things that would actually build the business up. Hire/Fire/Quit is a revolving door, people just come and go constantly. The pay is completely sub-par compared to almost everywhere else hiring for these types of jobs, and management can be condescending at best. It makes for a pretty abysmal work atmosphere all the way around, insurance is expensive and awful, and in the cold, bitter winter you almost expect to see poor Tiny Tim waiting outside for his father, Tim Cratchett, to leave the building.
