Pros
Would 100% recommend the parent/sister NorthPoint companies—they truly do invest in an awesome culture and their people. Coworkers were great and you worked with friends—not something you find at a lot of companies. Amazing employee benefits and good pay. Management had a ton of good intentions—just not a way to predict how badly things would go.
Cons
Unfortunately, I don’t think a lot of the core values the parent company was founded on have translated well to NorthPoint Logistics. The recent layoffs perhaps couldn’t be avoided, but there had been months and months of frustration, stress, and uncertainty from management’s lack of openness preceding them. I didn’t realize just how badly it was affecting me until I started at a different company.
