Pros

The mission: to help companies measure and reduce their emission! The employees! Without the very dedicated employees, Normative would not be what it is. Despite poor management, the employees still make sure the customers get value and that Normative is going in the right direction.

Cons

As many others have written, Normative used to be an exciting and value-driven company, but as many of the best people have left or been let go, it is starting to change for the negative. Many of the Mangers, VPs and PMs do not really listen or are open-minded for feedback. Management constantly changing, and there are a few people within the company who decide who should be let go or not. The marketing team is almost non-exciting anymore, and the best people were let go without any communication on a strategy.

- Talented and collaborative teammates - Cool mission and vision

Cons

CEO is a highly emotional leader, and his style tends to be quite micromanaging. People hesitate to speak up or challenge ideas.

This is why we invest so much in creating a culture of transparency (monthly all-hands, regular comms on slack, all team targets achievement available on company-wide documents, Eletive platform to collect people's feedback - anonymously or not, etc.). Leadership lacks a clear structure and innovation is reactive.
