I’m a new LO and Norcom is my first mortgage company. I don’t have a lot of experience in the mortgage world but a great deal for f experience in the sales world. This company sucks for new LO’s. Everything is on the LO. Business cards, document gathering, any sort of marketing, absolutely everything. They do not provide leads or any backroom support. I was tossed to the wolves without a clue as to what I was supposed to do. I was offered the same job with a different company that provided new LO’s leads and marketing assistance for a small percentage. There is little to no sales training or basics on how to get started. My branch manager was actively competing against me for deals. Norcom also dropped the ball with my licensing sponsorship which cost me several deals. Maybe a seasoned LO would do well here if they had a prexisting book of business but a new LO cannot survive here. The whole company vibe is very Amway or other MLO like.
