Pros
There is open communication between teams and recognition for a good life-work balance. There are inter-department team activities to encourage sharing between teams. Employers are pretty open-minded to suggestions and care about employees' well-being. Outside speakers are invited to give talks about relevant topics from time to time.
Cons
Many of the entry level positions are filled by new grads or students who are working part-time out of university and would appreciate more mentorship from experienced individuals in their field.
