Pros

Working as a Dog Handler was a meaningful and hands-on experience. The dogs I cared for were rescued and received a lot of attention, outdoor time, and structured rehabilitation and training. It was rewarding to see their progress over time as they adjusted, improved behaviorally, and became more socialized. The organization is focused on rescuing dogs from difficult situations and giving them a second chance at life. The animals were generally well-fed, properly cared for, and closely monitored. Being part of their recovery and adoption journey was one of the most fulfilling parts of the job. The work environment was centered around animal care and teamwork, and I gained valuable experience in handling, rehabilitation routines, and animal welfare practices.

Cons

The role could be physically and emotionally demanding at times, which is expected when working closely with rescue dogs that come from difficult backgrounds. It required patience, consistency, and a calm approach, especially when helping dogs adjust and build trust.
