Pros
Lower staff members are great people to be around
Cons
*High Turnover *Top Heavy Business *Perpetual Promisor *Stagnant Company *Directionless Ship When I started working for this company, it was great. But as time went on you started to see the changes. Nitel does NOT care about their employees. They have a very high turnover rate, which they will tell you differently. They have NO trust in their employees, and micromanage you to death. The benefits are okay, nothing to brag about; they give you subpar health insurance. Managers are consistently talking trash about other employees. There is no good culture here. They have that curb appeal, you know nice office, if that's what you like. Raises are a joke, they offer Nitel "phantom" stock which is an even bigger joke. Bonuses are becoming non-existent. There is NO communication! Everyone ignores everyone because no one wants to do their job. They are constantly pushing other departments work onto others who are not even in that department. Employees are burnt out and tired of getting mistreated. Top brass doesn't really care about this place either otherwise they'd be taking a bigger interest in their company. They don't care about their long-term employees (employees that have been here 10+ yrs). With all this negativity it trickles down to your employees we are tired of being mistreated in the work place. They offer a work from home program but WON'T let you work from home. If you are not going to abide by something you created then you need to stop that program, and at that same time stop hiring remote people if you can't offer something that all employees can use.
