Several small, previously independent (“mom and pop”) companies were acquired and rebranded as a so‑called global organization. Unfortunately, the reality does not reflect that title. The leadership and management approach feels rigid and outdated, with a closed mindset and heavy micromanagement. Systems and processes lag behind modern standards, creating unnecessary inefficiencies and frustration. In hindsight, I deeply regret my decision to join the company and wish I had not based that choice primarily on salary, as the work environment has fallen far short of expectations.
