Generally well meaning - scientists do need better, cost-effective tools! The current life-science hegemony is not built to deliver those - innovation is much more likely to come from small, driven product teams.

I found a high degree of dysfunction in product development. By all metrics, the company does not yet have a successful product, and does not have the teams in place to build one even if it knew what one looked like. There are also some serious red flags around how upper management communicates and runs the shop. Overall, the idea for the product is a good one, but its unfortunately a case study in failed product strategy and implementation.

None management are great people to work with

Management took Theranos as a how to rather than a cautionary tale. They sell a product that doesn't work, don't listen to multiple employees who tell/show them it doesn't work and retaliate against you for bringing it up. If your a customer you are using a defective product which is only going to give you correct answers maybe 10% of the time if your lucky.
