Pros

There's an inherent sincerity at the core of the company. It attracts passionate people who put in their very best effort every day. Management has always been supportive of employees learning new skills, whether it's on the job with senior staff, or through outside courses. Everyone is always very willing to share their knowledge, and to help their colleagues grow. There's pizza Fridays, rooftop parties, and a concentrated effort to make clients and employees feel at home. Yes, these are perks, but they also contribute to an atmosphere that helps generate new business.

Cons

Work/life balance can be tough, but that's the industry.

Pros

A super warm and collaborative environment where creativity and talent is cultivated. Coworkers genuinely care for each other and lift each other up instead of trying to tear each other down. Management / Owner makes an effort to hear and listen to the needs of their employees and genuinely cares for each employee's well being. You are encouraged to partake in industry events and to share ideas on how to engage Nice Shoes within the industry I have worked at other post houses in NYC and the above was not always the case. The grass is definitely greener on the Nice Shoes side of the fence!

Cons

There can be long hours but that is on par with all post houses I have worked in and is part of the industry. If you don't like engaging with other people in the industry, this might not be the place for you. There is an expectation that all employees in all departments are out and about at industry events meeting with other industry thought leaders. Depending on the position, a good amount of travel could be required as we have a multitude of locations outside of NYC. This could also be looked at as a pro depending on your desire to travel and it also depends on the position. Many positions require no travel.
