Cons
The CEO is, without exaggeration, the single most demotivating person I have worked with. Leadership style is rooted in ego, not expertise. Decision-making is erratic, emotional, and completely detached from operational reality. Zero transparency. Critical information was hidden or spun to fit whatever narrative the CEO felt like pushing that day. No vision. No strategy. Blame culture runs rampant — mistakes (often originating from the CEO’s own poor decisions) were dumped on teams without shame. Accountability only ever flowed one way: downward. Feedback is not only unwelcome; it's treated as disloyalty. Dissenters are quickly frozen out or pushed aside. Promises made to employees (about progression, pay, culture, etc.) were consistently broken or quietly forgotten. Micromanagement on petty details, but complete neglect of the bigger picture — a classic hallmark of insecure, unfit leadership. ChatGPT is used to respond to everything. From detailed planning to replying to someone being off sick - the CEO’s reply is run through ChatGPT. It’s mind blowing and quite frankly rude and shows the lack of expertise and accountability.
