Toxic management. Managers push ICs into curring corners and taking risks, then punish them badly for any resulting prpblems. Corrupt hiring. Managers are free to hire cronies and family members. There are no clear hiring standards, so it's impossible to push back when a HM wants to hire someone or wants to skip a great candidate. Teams stonewall each other. Very less communication. Operations org expects waterfall level of documentation and Scrum rituals at the same time. Offshore Scrum coaches impose crazy meeting schedules on teams. Product managers have no idea what they are doing. They don't make PRDs or follow normal PM best practices. No chance at promotion until 10 years or longer playing politics.
